Sizzling Saturdays – Special Event

Take a stroll, grab a bite to eat, do some shopping and enjoy live entertainment on Main St.

Each Saturday Night in April from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., visitors will enjoy special offers from some of their favorite downtown shops and eateries including: Blue Lab Photography, The Bracelet Bar at Serenity, Coldstone Creamery, Main St. Spirits and Deli, Murphy's Paw, Pans on Fire, Sincerely Yours Cards & Gifts, Town Center Books and Tully's Coffee. Guests will also enjoy live music in several locations on Main Street, as well as special entertainers for children.

Niles Canyon Railway: History in Motion

The Niles Canyon Railway a railroad museum like no other, where the magic of the locomotive comes to life. This railway was initially designed to preserve aspects of the railroad along the Pacific Coast existing from 1910 to 1960. The museum has everything you'd expect from a railroad museum, including a friendly staff happy to answer any questions from kids or curious adults. The Train of Lights is one of the museums best-known attractions, offering an extraordinary experience of light and railroad magic during the holiday seasons. City of Dublin’s 14th Annual Shamrock 5K Fun Run and Walk Sunday, March 18, 2012

The Shamrock 5K Fun Run and Walk is a great event for runners and walkers of all skill levels…you don't want to miss out on all the fun!

Last minute pre-race registration will be available on Thursday, March 15 from 3:00 to 7:00 pm at World of Shoes, 7871 Amador Valley Boulevard, Dublin. This is your last opportunity to receive the pre-registration rates and receive a T-shirt.

Early T-shirt Pick-up:
Event T-shirts are available for all pre-registered participants. Avoid the lines before the race and pick-up your T-shirt at World of Shoes, 7871 Amador Valley Boulevard, Dublin. Pick-up will be available from 3:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday, March 15. T-shirts will also be available for pick-up before the race and until 10:00 am at the T-shirt booth.

Emergency Preparedness Class

The City of Pleasanton has a CERT class coming up next week (Wednesday, February 8 —see flyer below) and they have plenty of available seats. If you took CERT before 2009, this is a great opportunity to refresh your skills with our new training format.

Each session has a short lecture on the topic, hands-on practice, and group/team exercises to implement concepts learned. If you know of friends/neighbors who you’d like on your neighbor hood CERT team, please feel free to forward this message to them.
